Play KK is a card game designed through collaboration between Korean and Kenyan artists. It promotes cultural exchange by helping players to experience the cultures of Kenya and Korea, both in the form of a physical card game and through Augmented Reality. Play KK is one of AFRHD’s key missions of curating art exchange between Korea and African countries. We seek a horizontal exchange of ideas as the main foundation for all collaborative works between artists, thereby creating respect, lasting friendships, and understanding of one another. We hope that players of Play KK will also learn a lot of new things about Kenya and Korea, create new friendships and simply have fun.

In this exhibition, you can experience card game illustrations and images that move through AR operation. You can experience games as well as exhibitions. During the exhibition, participating members will also paint murals inspired by Korean and Kenyan cultures.

WHEN: September 7th ~ 9th, 2023 / 10:00 ~ 17:00
